Character Street Names
Consider naming your school site walkways with
character traits. Here are Free to Learn’s suggested
names with their Spanish translations.
Harmon Johnson Elementary, a Free to Learn school in North
Sacramento School District took the idea a step further and instituted
a mail system where students write letters to each other schoolwide
and they are addressed using the street names and classroom # (ex.
Jane Doe, 14 Respect Way)
