Office: Citizen Forum.

2007 Highest Office: Citizen Forum

Antoinette “Butterscotch” Clinton, classically trained
pianist and internationally acclaimed beatbox artist, performed
for the enthusiastic crowd.

News10’s Dana Howard served as the Master of Ceremonies
for the evening.

Erin Gruwell, renowned educator and inspiration for the film Freedom
Writers, was this year’s special guest and speaker.

Poetry out Loud students Kristi Avila (pictured) and Ken Huffman
also performed at the 2007 Highest Office: Citizen Forum.

Frank Withrow, who works with such organizations as 100 Black
Men of Sacramento, delivered a special motivational presentation
that brought the audience to its feet.

The 2007 Highest Office: Citizen panel highlighted student and
teacher views on justice, fairness and equity. Panelists (left

Task Force and, was presented with the 2007 Highest Office: Citizen
Award for his exemplary model of citizenship.
