2007 CSOC Winner - Prairie Elementary

Prairie Elementary is a diverse school located in Elk Grove Unified School District, in Sacramento County. Prairie accepts responsibility to provide a positive, purposeful and orderly climate, where teaching and learning are first priority. Consequently, Prairie enjoys a well-deserved reputation as a learning community that values a strong academic focus and great character.

On March 15, 2007, Prairie Elementary, in Elk Grove Unified School District,
was recognized as a 2007 California School of Character.
EGUSD Superintendent Steven Ladd presented the award during the school’s multi-cultural faire.
