2007 CSOC Winner - Orinda Intermediate

Located in Orinda Union School District, in Contra Costa County, Orinda Intermediate School serves the city’s entire middle school population for students in grades six through eight. The goal of their character education program is to develop programs and strategies to help students learn to respect themselves and others, to value differences, and to interact with people in positive, considerate, and healthy ways. It is their mission to promote self-reliance and to foster a conviction that Orinda Intermediate School is more than an academic environment.
