Our Mission:

to prepare personally responsible and community-minded youth

Founded in 1984, the Center for Youth Citizenship prepares California's young people to respect one another,

our institutions, and laws; understand the responsibilities and privileges of citizenship; appreciate our democracy

and develop the knowledge, skills and character to be engaged and informed participants in everyday

community matters.
